» The practical nature of the lectures at FOM is very useful for my profession. My studies there have had a significant influence on my international career. After completing my dual studies at FOM and my apprenticeship at Bertelsmann, I worked at Bertelsmann India Investments in Mumbai. Later, I was offered the opportunity to join the founding team of “UpGrad” – an online education platform – in Mumbai. Last year, I began a Master’s programme at Harvard Business School; it was useful to be able to put down my dual studies at FOM on the application.«

»In the future, I would like to have more participation opportunities and also strategically be able to make decisions. As I also want to be financially independent during my academic studies, I find the part-time degree programme at FOM University to be an ideal alternative to full-time study. Here, lots of different people from completely different industries meet and share their experiences. Receiving theoretical foundations and comparing them to my own profession benefits me in my everyday working life.«

» As a blind student, I found FOM University to be very open to my situation and that the lecturers treated me no different to anybody else. I found this very pleasant because my disability often leads people to believe they need to treat me more carefully. But that’s not what I want. Both the student advisory service and my lecturers were helpful and reacted flexibly and respectfully. We always talked openly about organisational matters and my search for support, e.g. when it came to digitising teaching materials. All in all, I am very happy that I decided to study at FOM and highly recommend it.«
